Your question really doesn’t make any sense in the context you asked it! Your computer will be what ever the operating system is, whether or not its online or offline!
1) Click on Start (The button on the bottom left with the Windows logo)
2) Right click on the button that says “Computer”
3) From the right-click menu, select “Properties”
4) It should say right at the top of the screen that pops up!
Plus you can tell simply by the way the interface looks. If everything is glowy and transparent, its one of the newest, either Windows Vista or Windows 7. If it is a matte blue, silver, or green with big bright colors and buttons, it is probably Windows XP. If it if dull, grey, and old looking, it is either Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows 98 or Windows 95. There are others I didn’t mention, but those are the generally poplar ones. But if this is confusing, forget about it and just follow the steps above.
right click “my computer”
click properties
Start menu, right click on my computer, properties
Right click on (my) computer and select porperties. That will tell you
Click start
click run
type in winver.exe
or just look when the computer is starting up
